Reaction Steps
A solution of NaNd-bis-Boc-L-Ornithyl-D-Homophenylalanine Benzyl ester (2.80 g, 4.80 mmol) in methanol (200 mL) was treated with 10% Pd/C catalyst (0:2 g) and stirred in the atmosphere of hydrogen at 25° C. for 3 hr. The catalyst was removed by filtration through Celite pad and the filtrate evaporated to dryness to give the title product (2.48 g).
