Procedure

2-Methyl-malonic acid monoethyl ester was coupled with 3,3,4,4,4-pentafluoro-butylamine in analogy to the description in example 73 to yield 2-methyl-N-(3,3,4,4,4-pentafluoro-butyl)-malonamic acid ethyl ester as colourless oil.
