In a manner similar to that of other examples above, 8-piperazin-1-yl-3,4-dihydro-1H-quinolin-2-one hydrochloride (Chem. Pharm. Bull. 1984, 32, 2100–2110) was coupled by reductive amination to 4-(7-oxo-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-[1,8]naphthyridin-2-yloxy)-butyraldehyde followed by typical workup and purification to give the title compound. MS: APCI: M+1: 450.2 (Exact Mass: 449.24).
