Procedure

A solution of tert-butyl 3-({(3R)-1-[2-(6-methoxy-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1H-1-benzazepin-1-yl)-2-oxoethyl]-2,4-dioxo-5-phenyl-2,3,4,5-tetrahydro-1H-1,5-benzodiazepin-3-yl}methyl)-1H-indazole-1-carboxylate (93 mg) in methylene chloride (10 mL) was treated with trifluoroacetic acid (1 mL). Stirred for 1.25 hours and concentrated the solvent off. Chromatographed on silica gel (Hexane:Ethyl Acetate) then lyophilized to yield the title compound as a white film (64 mg).
