Procedure
Utilize a Quest 205 Parallel Synthesizer and to a mixture of morpholine (2.6 g, 30 mmol), dichloromethane (45 mL) and 2M K2CO3 slowly add chloroacetylchloride (3.73 g, 33 mmol) in dichloromethane (10 mL). Agitate the reaction overnight and filter off the organic layer. Extract the aqueous with dichloromethane (20 mL) and add it to the previously collected organic layer. Dry the organic phase (MgSO4) and concentrate under vacuum to obtain the title compound.
