Reaction Steps

21 mg (0.032 mmole) of the compound obtained in step 1 was dissolved in 0.5 ml of tetrahydrofuran and to the resulting solution was added 0.3 ml of aqueous 1N HCl solution. The resultant was stirred for 5 hours at room temperature, neutralized with aqueous 1N NaOH solution, concentrated under reduced pressure and purified with silica gel column chromatography to obtain 16 mg of the title compound (yield 85.8%).
