Procedure

A solution of 936 mg of ((1-benzyl)piperidin-4-yl)acetic acid, t-butyl ester (from EXAMPLE 163, Step B) in 2 mL of TFA was stirred at rt for 18 h. The solution was concentrated to afford the title compound.
