A solution of N-(4-chloromethylphenyl)-7-(4-methyl-phenyl)-2,3-dihydro-1-benzoxepine-4-carboxamide (0.15 g) and cyclohexylamine (0.17 ml) in dimethylformamide (10 ml) was stirred at room temperature for 2.5 hours. The solvent was evaporated, and the residue was purified with silica gel column (ethyl acetate/methanol/triethylamine) to give crude crystals, which were recrystallized from ethanol-hexane to give N-(4-((cyclohexylamino)methyl)phenyl)-7-(4-methylphenyl)-2,3-dihydro-1-benzoxepine-4-carboxamide (Compound 114) (0.09 g) as colorless crystals.
