Reaction Steps
A solution of 2.462 g of 4,5,6,7-tetrahydro-imidazo-[4,5-c]-pyridine and 2.97 g of cyclopropyl isothiocyanate in 20 ml of acetonitrile is refluxed for 7 h. After evaporation to dryness, the residue is chromatographed on silica gel (ethyl acetateethanol as eluant) to give 1.42 g of the pure title compound, m.p. 185°.
