A solution of Example 158 (45 mg, 0.1 mmol) arid 2N LiOH (3 mL) in MeOH (3 mL) was stirred at RT overnight. The reaction mixture was neutralized to pH=4, and extracted with ethyl acetate (3×20 mL). The combined organic extracts were washed with brine, and dried (NaSO4) and filtered. The filtrate was concentrated to afford 3-{3-[3-t-butyl-5-(4-chloro-benzoylamino)-pyrazol-1-yl]-phenyl}-propionic acid, (38.5 mg, 87%). 1H NMR (DMSO-d6): 10.38 (s, 1H), 7.85 (d, J=8.4 Hz, 1H), 7.56 (d, J=8.4 Hz, 2H), 7.39 (s, 1H), 7.32 (d, J=4.8 Hz, 2H), 7.15 (t, J=4.8 Hz, 1H), 6.38 (s, 1H), 2.80 (t, J=7.6 Hz, 2H), 2.44 (t, J=7.2 Hz, 2H), 1.29 (s, 9H); MS (ESI) m/z: 426 (M+H+).
