Reaction Steps

To a solution of the product of step g) (0.5 g) in methanol (10 ml) was added potassium carbonate (0.5 g) and the resulting suspension was stirred at ambient temperature for 2 hours. The reaction mixture was absorbed onto silica and purified by chromatography (SiO2; 3:1 isohexane:ethyl acetate) to give the subtitle compound (0.4 g).
