Procedure

To a solution of Example 32C (372.1 mg, 0.69 mmol) in methanol (5 mL) was slowly added a solution of 4 M HCl in dioxane (1.6 mL, 6.4 mmol) at 0° C. over 10 minutes via addition funnel. The mixture was allowed to stir for 5 hours at room temperature and then was concentrated under reduced pressure to provide the titled compound. MS (ESI) m/e 441 (M+H)+, 439 (M−H)−; 1H NMR (400 MHz, CD3OD) δ ppm 1.80 (m, 1H), 2.74 (m, 1H), 2.84 (m, 1H), 3.09 (m, 1H), 3.16 (t, 1H), 3.24 (m, 1H), 3.52 (dd, 2H), 3.55 (m, 1H), 3.74 (m, 1H), 3.88 (m, 1H), 4.51 (m, 1H), 4.65 (d, 1H), 4.70 (d, 1H), 7.63 (m, 1H) 8.06 (d, 1H) 8.10 (d, 1H) 8.39 (s, 1H).
