This compound was synthesized from 2-([1,1′-biphenyl]-3-yl)acetonitrile as described in example 1 step 2 using 2-bromoethyl ether (0.5 g, 73%). 1H NMR (300 MHz, CDCl3) δ 7.72-7.71 (m, 1H), 7.62-7.57 (m, 3H), 7.51-7.45 (m, 4H), 7.42-7.37 (m, 1H), 4.15-4.10 (m, 2H), 3.99-3.91 (m, 2H), 2.28-2.20 (m, 4H).
