3-(3,4-dihydroquinolin-1(2H)-ylsulfonyl)benzoic acid (18) (100 mg, 0.32 mmol) was treated with 6-methoxybenzo[d]thiazol-2-amine (47 mg, 0.26 mmol) using method C. The residue was purified using flash chromatography eluting with 0-30% EtOAc in hexanes. The resulting solid was triturated with dichloromethane/hexanes to give 3-(3,4-dihydroquinolin-1(2H)-ylsulfonyl)-N-(6-methoxybenzo[d]thiazol-2-yl)benzamide as an off-white solid. Yield: 32 mg (25%). 1H-NMR: 8.48 (s, 1H), 8.40-8.35 (m, 1H), 7.77-7.59 (m, 5H), 7.24-7.18 (m, 1H) 7.11-7.05 (m, 3H), 3.87-3.81 (m, 2H), 2.44 (t, J=6.5 Hz, 2H), 1.68-1.59 (m, 2H).
