3-(indolin-1-ylsulfonyl)benzoic acid (3) (100 mg, 0.33 mmol) was treated with 6-methoxybenzo[d]thiazol-2-amine (46 mg, 0.25 mmol) using method C. The residue was purified using flash chromatography eluting with 0-30% EtOAc in hexanes. The resulting solid was triturated with dichloromethane/hexanes to give 3-(indolin-1-ylsulfonyl)-N-(6-methoxybenzo[d]thiazol-2-yl)benzamide as a white solid. Yield: 30 mg (25%). 1H-NMR: 8.58 (s, 1H), 8.37 (d, J=8.0 Hz, 1H), 8.01 (d, J=8.0 Hz, 1H), 7.77-7.59 (m, 3H), 7.53 (d, J=8.0 Hz, 1H), 7.22 (t, J=8.0 Hz, 1H), 7.16 (d, J=7.5 Hz, 1H), 7.08 (dd, J=9.0, 2.5 Hz, 1H), 6.99 (dt, J=7.5, 7.5, 1.0 Hz, 1H), 4.02 (t, J=8.0 Hz, 2H), 2.93 (t, J=8.0 Hz, 2H).
