Procedure
To a solution of 2-[5-(4-chlorophenyl)-3-(2,2,6,6-tetramethyltetrahydro-2H-pyran-4-yl)-1H-pyrazol-1-yl]aniline (Example 62) (25 mg, 0.06 mmol, 1 eq) in toluene (2 mL) was added diisopropylethylamine (0.52 mL, 0.3 mmol, 5 eq), and 1,4-dibromobutane (0.5 mL, 4.1 mmol, 69 eq) and the solution stirred at 130° C. in a vial for 2 days. Added water, extracted with DCM, dried over MgSO4 and concentrated. Purification by column chromatography (8 g) eluting with 7 to 15% EtOAc/hex gave the title compound (10.9 mg, 38%).
