This compound was prepared according to general method D from methyl 2-(4-methyl-6-(naphthalen-2-yl)-2-phenylpyrimidin-5-yl)pentanoate (0.090 g; 0.219 mmol), sodium hydroxide 10N (0.219 mL; 2.19 mmol) in methanol (2 mL) to afford 0.080 g (92%) of the title compound as a white solid.
