This compound was prepared according to general method D from methyl 2-(4-(2,3-dihydrobenzofuran-5-yl)-6-methyl-2-phenylpyrimidin-5-yl)pentanoate (0.100 g; 0.248 mmol), sodium hydroxide 10N solution (0.248 mL; 2.48 mmol) in methanol (2.5 mL) to afford 0.089 g (91%) of the title compound as a white solid.
