This compound was prepared according to general method D from methyl 2-(4-(benzofuran-5-yl)-6-methyl-2-phenylpyrimidin-5-yl)pentanoate (0.114 g; 0.285 mmol), sodium hydroxide 10N (0.285 mL; 2.85 mmol) in methanol (3 mL) to afford 0.094 g (81%) of the title compound as a white solid.
