This compound was prepared according to general method D from methyl 3-methyl-2-(4-methyl-2-(piperidin-1-yl)-6-p-tolylpyrimidin-5-yl)pentanoate (0.039 g; 0.099 mmol), sodium hydroxide 10N (0.100 mL; 0.1 mmol) in methanol (1 mL) to afford 0.028 g (73%) of the title compound as a white solid.
