0.8 ml of trifluoroacetic acid was added to a solution of 90 mg of tert-butyl {4-[6-(2-fluorophenoxy)oxazolo[4,5-c]pyridin-2-yl]-2,6-dimethylphenoxy}acetate in 2 ml of dichloromethane, and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2 h. The reaction was then concentrated under reduced pressure and freeze-dried. This gave 101 mg (100%) of the title compound.
