Procedure

The preparation was carried out as already described starting from 120 mg (0.19 mmol) of 1-[4-(5,5,8,8-tetramethyl-5,6,7,8-tetrahydronaphthalen-2-yl)thiazol-2-yl]piperidin-4-ylamine hydrochloride (preparation described above) and 57 μl (0.38 mmol) of 4-bromobutyl acetate. The protecting group was cleaved off by means of a 1N NaOH solution in methanol. The product was purified by means of preparative HPLC and is in the form of the hydrochloride.
