The title compound is synthesized according to general procedure GP1 starting from 1.8 g (7.1 mmol) 6-(3-trifluoromethyl-phenyl)-pyrimidine-2,4-diamine and 1.8 g (7.8 mmol) NIS. Yield: 2.0 g (74%).
