Procedure

A mixture of 3-(4-(benzyloxy)-3-fluorophenyl)pyridin-2-amine (8.5 g), and platinum(IV) oxide (400 mg) in EtOH (200 mL) was stirred at room temperature under hydrogen over weekend. The mixture was added with NH silica gel, concentrated in vacuo, and purified by column chromatography (NH silica gel, eluted with MeOH in EtOAc) to give the title compound (3.20 g) as a pale yellow solid.
