Procedure

A mixture of 3,4-dinitro-benzoylchloride (24 g, 93.7 mmol) in 80 mL THF was added to a stirred mixture of aniline (10.4 mL, 112 mmol) and TEA (15.6 mL, 112 mmol) in 300 mL THF under nitrogen. After stirring for 5 days, the mixture was filtrated, washed with THF and evaporated to dryness. The residue was taken up in diethyl ether, filtrated and dried at 55° C.
