Reaction Steps
A mixture of 4-amino-2-chloro-5-nitro-benzoic acid (2.60 g, 12.0 mmol) in 200 mL dichloromethane with 20 mL thionyl chloride was refluxed for 4 h, cooled to ambient temperature, filtrated and concentrated to dryness i.vac. The residue was further reacted without further purification.
