Reaction Steps
A mixture of 1.15 g (2.4 mmol) Ethyl-2-[5-(tert.butylcarbonylaminomethyl)-2-chlorophenylamino]-benzimidazole-5-carboxylate and 10 ml 4M HCl in Dioxane was stirred overnight. The reaction mixture was concentrated under reduced pressure to give the sub-title compound. Yield: 1.0 g (100%).
