In the same manner as in Example 1(c) 1.4 grams (0.02 mole) isobutylamine and 2.7 grams (0.01 mole) of the acyl chloride produced in step (b) were combined in 50 milliliters toluene to yield 2.8 grams (92.1% of theoretical yield) of the desired product, m.p. 86°-87° C. The structure was confirmed by mass spectrometry.
