Reaction Steps

The title compound was prepared from 5-ethylthio-1,3,4-oxadiazole-2-carbonyl chloride (0.79 g., 4.1 mmole) and 4-amino-6,7-dimethoxy-2-(1-piperazinyl)quinazoline (1.19 g., 4.1 mmole) following the procedure described in Example 1. The product had a M.P. of 246°-248.5° C.
