1-[3-(5-(1,2,4-Triazol-4-yl)-1H-indol-3-yl)propyl]-4-[2-(3-fluorophenyl)ethyl]piperazine was dissolved in methanol heated to 58° C. under a nitrogen atmosphere. Citric acid, in methanol at 58° C., was added, and the solution allowed to cool to ambient temperature, then left to stand for 16 hours. The mixture was filtered and the solid dried in vacuo at 50° C. to give the title compound, mp 176° C. (dec.).
