Reaction Steps

To a solution of the objective compound (3.63 g, 9.02 mmol) of Step (4) in methanol (50 mL) was added under nitrogen atmosphere 10% palladium carbon (480 mg) and the mixture was stirred at room temperature for 18 hours under hydrogen atmosphere. The catalyst was filtered off and washed with methanol. The filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure to give the title compound as a brown solid (2.43 g, 100%).
