150 ml (0.46 mmol) of 5-bromomethyl-2,3-dimethoxy-7-nitro-quinoxaline, 98 mg (1.1 equiv.) of N-(2-pyridylmethyl)-glycine ethyl ester and 0.076 ml (1.2 equiv.) of triethylamine are stirred at reflux in 5 ml of acetonitrile for 20 hours. The mixture is concentrated by evaporation and the residue is suspended in diethyl ether and filtered. After drying, the title compound is obtained in the form of a white powder.
