5-chloro-1-isobutyl-6-(4-methoxybenzyl)-3,7-dimethyl-1H-pyrrolo[3,4-d]pyrimidine-2,4(3H,6H)-dione (12 mg, 0.03 mmol) is placed in a Biotage microwave tube, and then aniline (0.22 mL) is added. The mixture was heated at 150° C. for 3 h., and then purified by a semi-preparative HPLC to give 4 mg of pure product. MS (ESI) m/z 447.3 [M+H]+.
