The compound (2.00 g, 6.54 mmol) obtained in Example 4-0) was dissolved in tetrahydrofuran (11 mL). Potassium hydroxide (2.16 g, 39.72 mmol), water (7 mL), and methyl iodide (2.44 mL, 39.27 mmol) were added to the solution at room temperature, and the mixture was stirred for 1 h under a nitrogen atmosphere. The reaction mixture was extracted with ethyl acetate (50 mL), and the organic layer was washed with saturated sodium chloride solution and then dried with anhydrous magnesium sulfate. The solvent was distilled off under reduced pressure to obtain the title compound (2.09 g, quant.) in a yellow oily form.
