Reaction Steps

The title compound was prepared according to Method 4 using (4S,5R)-3-(tert-butoxycarbonyl)-5-isopropyl-2,2-dimethyl-1,3-oxazolidine-4-carboxylic acid (Preparation 60) and 4-tert-butyl-1,2-diaminobenzene. The final residue was washed with ethyl acetate and diluted with water, basified with saturated lithium hydroxide solution (pH=8), extracted with ethyl acetate and dried over anhydrous Na2SO4 and concentrated under reduced pressure.
