The same operation as in Example (1i) was performed using ethyl cis(±)-2-(4-{[(4-bromo-5-methyl-1H-imidazol-2-yl)carbonyl]amino}-3-methoxypiperidin-1-yl)-4-methyl-1,3-thiazole-5-carboxylate obtained in Example (31d) (0.19 g, 0.39 mmol) and 2 N lithium hydroxide (4 mL), to obtain 0.11 g of the title compound as a white solid (61%).
