A mixture of 2-(methylsulfonyl)ethyl methanesulfonate (16.6 mg, 81.9 μmol) and N-(4-(2-aminoethoxy)-3-(1-methyl-1H-pyrazol-5-yl)phenyl)-3-methoxybenzamide (30 mg, 81.9 μmol) in DMF was heated to 150° C. for 1 hour under microwave irradiation in a heavy-walled sealed tube. The crude product was purified by HPLC. The proper fractions were collected and lyophilized to afford the title compound as a yellow solid in 18.5% yield. LCMS m/z (%)=473 (M+H, 100).
