Procedure

N1-(5-Bromopyrimidin-2-yl)ethane-1,2-diamine (100 mg) was added to a solution of carbonyl diimidazole (30 mg) in tetrahydrofuran (5 mL) at 0° C. The reaction mixture was stirred under nitrogen at room temperature for 1 h. The formed solution was concentrated to give an oil, which was purified by preparative TLC to afford the title compound. Yield: 13 mg (12% of theory).
