A mixture of N-(2,3-dihydroxypropyl)-5-((R)-2-(5-fluoro-2-methoxypyridin-3-yl)pyrrolidin-1-yl)pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine-3-carboxamide (100 mg, 0.232 mmol) and HCl (4 N, dioxane, 5.8 mL) was sealed in a pressure tube and heated at 85° C. overnight. After the clear solution was decanted, the crude product was obtained as a brownish oily residue, which was vacuum-dried and used directly in the next step without further purification. MS (apci) m/z=435.0 (M+H).
