A mixture of HCl (4 N dioxane, 4 mL, 16.0 mmol) and (R)-N-(3-chloropropyl)-5-(2-(5-fluoro-2-methoxypyridin-3-yl)pyrrolidin-1-yl)-N-methylpyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine-3-carboxamide (100 mg, 0.224 mmol) was sealed in a pressure tube and heated at 90° C. for 90 minutes. The reaction mixture was then diluted with acetonitrile and concentrated to yield the crude product, which was carried to the next step without further purification (145 mg, 150% yield). MS (apci) m/z=433.0 (M+H).
