Procedure

A mixture of the product from Step B (63 mg, 0.108 mmol, enantiomer A) and PtO2 (2.4 mg, 0.0108 mmol) in MeOH (3 mL) was purged air three times and then backfilled with H2. The mixture was stirred at RT overnight. The suspension was filtered off and filtrate was concentrated to give the title compound which was used for next step without purification. LC/MS m/z=610.7 [M+Na]+.
