1-Propanol (401 μl), a 5.877 mmol/L aqueous hydrochloric acid solution (6.22 μl, 1.10 eq.) and water (4.1 μl) were added to N-{4-[2-amino-5-(3,4-dimethoxyphenyl)pyridin-3-yl]phenyl}-5-(4-fluorophenyl)-4-oxo-1-(2,2,2-trifluoroethyl)-1,4-dihydropyridine-3-carboxamide (20.55 mg, 33.22 μmol) at room temperature, and the mixture was stirred at 40° C. for about 24 hours. After leaving to stand at room temperature for about 30 minutes, the precipitated solid was collected by filtration. The solid was then dried at room temperature to give the title compound (19.65 mg). Yield: 90%.
