Procedure

A 7 ml NMP solution of 3-(6-chloro-2-(methylthio)pyrimidin-4-yl)pyrazolo[1,5-a]pyrimidine (7h, 1.30 g) and (S)-1-(2,4-difluoro-phenyl)ethanamine (1.47 g) was heated in a microwave reactor at 220° C. for 20 min. LC/MS indicated the major peak was the desired product. The reaction mixture was partitioned between ethyl acetate and sat. NH4OAc. The organic phase was dried with MgSO4, filtered and the solvent was removed under reduced pressure. The product was purified by chromatography (SiO2, EtOAc-Hex, 1:1) (1.09 g, 58.6% yield).
