Procedure
8 g sodium methanolate was added to 10 g 4,6-dichlorpyrimidine in 100 mL methanol at 0° C. The reaction was stirred at RT over night. The mixture was added into water and extracted with ethylacetate. The organic layer was dried with magnesium sulfate and evaporated to give 8.34 g desired product. Rt: 0.97 min (method B), (M+H)+: 145
