2,5-Bis(4-chloro-3-nitrophenyl)-1-(4-fluorophenyl)pyrrolidine (0.88 g, 1.86 mmol) was combined with 4-methoxy benzylamine (3.64 mL, 28.0 mmol) and heated at 145° C. for 1 hour in a microwave reactor. The mixture was diluted with dichloromethane and filtered. The filtrate was concentrated and purified by chromatography on silica gel with a 330 g column, eluting with 0-60% ethyl acetate/hexanes to give 0.79 g (62%) of an orange foam solid.
