To a solution of compound 3g (5 g, 10 mmol) in dry ether (80 mL) was added slowly LiAlH4 (1M in THF, 15.7 mL, 15.7 mmol) at 0° C. The mixture was stirred at 0° C. for 30 min. Then the mixture was quenched with water (1 mL) under vigorous stirring. The precipitate was removed by filtration and the filtrate was concentrated in vacuo to give 3h as a white solid (4.3 g, 92% yield).
