Reaction Steps
Dissolve [2-(3,5-difluorophenyl)-1-(S)-hydroxymethyl-ethyl]-carbamic acid tert-butyl ester (4.57 g, 15.9 mmol) in dichloromethane (20 mL). Add trifluoroacetic acid (20 mL) and stir 45 min and concentrate to give the title compound as a thick residue.
