tert-Butyl [(1R,3S)-3-(4-[3-(trifluoromethyl)phenyl]-piperazin-1-ylcarbonyl)-cyclopentyl]-carbamate (82 mg, 0.18 mmol) was treated with trifluoroacetic Acid (3 mL, 0.04 mol) in methylene chloride (3 mL) at room temperature for 1 h. The mixture was concentrated to provide the desired product (98 mg, 93%). MS calculated for C20H28F3N3O: (M+H) 384.3; found 384.2.
