This compound was prepared following the procedure described in example 24, part C, starting with 2.8 g (10 mmol) of 4-(1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-3-yl)-piperidine-1-carboxylic acid ethyl ester and 1.7 ml (15 mmol) of 2-bromoethylethyl ether. After standard work-up and purification, 3.5 g of 4-[1-(2-ethoxyethyl)-1H-pyrrolo[2,3-b]pyridin-3-yl]-piperidine-1-carboxylic acid ethyl ester were obtained.
