A mixture of 4-chloro-2-(4-methyl-benzotriazol-2-yl)-phenol (93 mg, 0.36 mmol), [4-(3-bromo-propoxyl)-phenyl]-acetic acid ethyl ester (130 mg, 1.2 eq.) and Cs2CO3 (140 mg, 1.2 eq.) in CH3CN (10 ml) was heated to reflux for I hr. After cooling to r.t., the solid was filtered off and the filtrate was concentrated in vacuo. The crude product was purified on silica gel to give the desired compound.
